How to help Zehra Doğan with her projects

Zehra Doğan

A certain number of you have expressed the wish to support Zehra Doğan by acquiring one of her works. Here is how to proceed.

Pre-orders are closed

Since Kedistan has accepted to manage and protect Zehra’s intellectual and moral rights in Europe, we attempt, wherever possible to exhibit her original works in appropriate venues.

But we know it is not always easy for you to travel across the country, or even further, in order to finally see her original works.

But aren’t there reproductions?

Originally, Kedistan ordered a fine-quality reproduction of some of the works so they could go out on loan to associations or venues organizing events supportive of her work. A modest rental fee allowed for the framing of the originals. Since then, we have obtained the reproduction of 40 works, circulating as two separate exhibitions.

In passing, and for those who still express their doubts on the subject, this solidarity does not “give” its organizers anything in terms of money or image, nor does it benefit the association insuring Kedistan’s permanence. We will always speak out against a current notion of solidarity of the interested kind that would see Zehra’s works in terms of marketable goods.

We also know that because she is now considered a bankable value since Banksy expressed his support for her, Zehra’s image is sometimes use to raise funds she will never see. Should you encounter such sollicitations on the Web, we invite you to write to these sites or individuals in order to question their behavior.

At Kedistan, ALL expressions of solidarity, including that of the “postcards”, go to a dedicated Zehra account, in all transparency and with her direct approval.

Zehra has begun planning around a project of “Art workshops for children”.

The sale of reproductions or originals will be added to the funds already collected for this purpose.

This is why we can now offer you the possibility of acquiring a reproduction of one of Zehra’s works, in all legitimacy and at a modest cost.

Kedistan is offering to open a list of pre-orders and guarantees that should the number of these pre-orders climb to 50 by December, the works will be available by the end of the year.

You may choose from the works listed below, or watch the diaporama before filling out the pre-order form.

No need to pay in advance, simply express your intention through the pre-order form, with sufficient information so that we can contact you. We will destroy all personal information as soon as it has served for this stated purpose.

The reproductions are offered for 80€ each, including shipment in France.
For shipment to EU countries elsewhere there is an additional charge of 10€. For other countries, please contact us.
